Management Trainee Officer - (Fabric Procurement)

Job Description / Responsibility

Interstoff Apparels Ltd. is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Fabric MTO/Executive to support the end-to-end fabric procurement process. The ideal candidate will assist in fabric sourcing, development & bulk order follow-ups, ERP/OFS-based order processing and coordination with international mills to ensure timely availability of quality fabrics for our export production programs. This role requires strong communication skills, technical understanding of knit fabrics, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fabric Procurement & Sourcing:

  • Assist in procuring fabrics (Knit/Woven) as per approved BOMs, buyer requirements, quality standards, and technical specifications, mainly from international mills;
  • Follow up with Mills on sample development, bulk production status, and delivery timelines;

2. ERP & OFS Order Processing:

  • Process fabric purchase requisitions and create Fabric Purchase Orders (FPOs) in the company's ERP systems;
  • Track PO/PI/Payment status, expected delivery dates, and coordinate with internal teams to prevent delays;

3. Documentation & Reporting:

  • Collect and compare fabric price quotations, prepare cost sheets, and assist in negotiation.
  • Maintain all procurement-related documents, including PIs, POs, approvals, and delivery records;
  • Ensure all documents are aligned with ERP and physical filing systems;

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
  • Skills Required: career oriented, Energetic and self-motivated, pro active, Excellent communication and presentation skills

Experience Requirements

  • At most 2 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Garments
  • Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements

  • Freshers are welcome to apply; candidates with 01-02 Years in fabric procurement are preferred.
  • Knowledge of Fabric design, development processes, and costing will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organization skills;
  • proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel, is required;
  • Pleasing personality, ability to deal with customers with a positive attitude. Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to foster a co-operative work environment;
  • Smart in situation handling;
  • Presentable, target-oriented, good communicator, willing to develop career in the garments industry, and self- confident;
  • Excellent in interpersonal skill;
