Assistant Manager/ Sr. Executive - Production Planning

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Prepare and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to ensure maximum capacity utilization.
  • Coordinate with Merchandising and Procurement to ensure 100% Raw Material availability before the PCD (Production Confirmation Date).
  • Follow up on the entire production flow: Cutting ➔ Sewing ➔ Finishing ➔ Printing/Embroidery.
  • Monitor On-Time Sewing Start (%) and implement corrective strategies for any delays.
  • Analyze Plan vs. Achievement reports and identify root causes for plan failures.
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP/Excel for capacity budgeting and order status tracking.
  • Provide timely alerts to management regarding potential backlogs or production bottlenecks.
  • Develop robust contingency plans to ensure business continuity during production disruptions or periods of uncertainty.
  • Execute daily production execution reports and handle any other duties assigned by the departmental head to support factory goals.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc)
  • B.Sc in IPE / Textile Engineering or Production Management from any reputed University.
  • Skills Required: Supply Chain Management, Oracle ERP, ERP, Capacity assessment, Database Maintain in Excel, gap analysis and corrective plan, Operating knowledge about Fast React or other similar software, Advanced Data Analysis

Experience Requirements

  • At least 3 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments,Textile,Buying House,Group of Companies,Packaging Industry,Garments Accessories

Additional Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of solid experience in the Production Planning & Control (PPC) department within the garment manufacturing sector.
  • Mastery of MS Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas) for building capacity dashboards and production reports.
  • Extensive hands-on experience using industry-standard ERP systems to manage order status, material tracking, and capacity budgeting.
