Job Context

We are looking for an experienced and creative Remote Video Editor to join our content and production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of storytelling, editing rhythm, and attention to detail, with the ability to craft engaging videos that align with our clients' brand identity and marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media, YouTube, ads, and other digital platforms.
  • Work closely with the creative and marketing team to bring ideas to life through dynamic visuals and storytelling.
  • Cut, trim, color-correct, and add transitions, effects, and audio to enhance overall video quality.
  • Repurpose long-form content into engaging short-form versions (Reels, Shorts, TikTok's, etc.).
  • Collaborate with designers and copywriters to maintain consistent visual language across all media.
  • Stay updated on video trends, editing styles, and social media best practices to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards and deadlines.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in a digital marketing or media agency setting.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling and editing expertise.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
  • Basic motion graphics and sound design experience.
  • Understanding of aspect ratios, video formats, and platform-specific optimization.
  • Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual composition.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
