Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Gem Cutter
to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will cut, shape, and polish gemstones to create high-quality jewelry pieces that meet design and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut, shape, and polish gemstones with precision and attention to detail
• Examine rough stones to determine optimal cutting techniques
• Work with various tools and equipment to achieve desired shapes and finishes
• Ensure gemstones meet quality, symmetry, and size specifications
• Collaborate with jewelers, designers, and quality control teams to achieve design objectives
• Maintain equipment and work area to ensure safety and efficiency
• Keep detailed records of gemstone processing and yield
• Continuously improve cutting techniques and stay updated on industry trends

Requirements:

• Diploma, certification, or formal training in gemology, jewelry design, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in gemstone cutting or jewelry production
• Strong knowledge of gemstones, their properties, and cutting techniques
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, precision, and attention to detail
• Familiarity with gem cutting tools, equipment, and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a workshop environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and patience for intricate work
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
