About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Finance Controller

to join our team at our FMCG plant in Bangladesh. The ideal candidate will lead the financial operations, ensure compliance with international accounting standards, and support strategic decision-making. You will play a key role in driving financial efficiency, implementing controls, and ensuring profitability across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting

: Oversee accurate and timely financial statements, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
- Budgeting & Forecasting

: Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Cost Control

: Implement cost control measures, monitor production costs, and ensure cost optimization across the supply chain.
- Financial Analysis

: Analyze financial performance, identify trends, variances, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Compliance & Audit

: Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls. Manage external and internal audits.
- Cash Flow Management

: Monitor and manage cash flows to ensure liquidity, profitability, and efficiency in financial operations.
- Risk Management

: Identify financial risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensure adequate safeguards are in place.
- Inventory Management

: Collaborate with supply chain and production teams to manage working capital and optimize inventory levels.
- ERP Systems

: Maintain and enhance financial systems (ERP) to improve accuracy and efficiency of financial data.
- Team Leadership

: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, ensuring strong internal capabilities and succession planning.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background

: A professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
- Experience:

Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a similar role within the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
- Technical Skills

: Proficiency in financial software (ERP systems like SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge

: Strong understanding of Bangladesh's financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Language Skills

: Proficiency in English is required. Bengali language skills are a plus
