About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced 
Technical Team Lead

to guide our engineering team through a pivotal phase of growth. You will take ownership of our technical roadmap, leading the transition of our marketplace to a modern 
Microservices Architecture

while ensuring our Voice AI infrastructure remains low-latency and scalable. 

You will play the role of 
"Player-Coach"

—spending roughly 60% of your time on architecture and coding, and 40% on mentorship, code reviews, and team strategy. You aren't just a manager; you are the "
Master Architect

" who ensures our code is resilient, our deployments are automated, and our systems are cost-effective across multi-cloud systems. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architecture & System Design

• Microservices Migration:

Lead the strategic decoupling of our monolithic marketplace into scalable, resilient microservices. Define service boundaries, API standards, and data flow strategies.
- Multi-Cloud Strategy:

Orchestrate infrastructure across diverse cloud environments to balance performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- AI Integration:

Architect the backend systems that power our Voice AI agents, ensuring sub-second latency and high availability for real-time calls.

2. Team Leadership & Engineering Culture

• Mentorship:

Actively mentor a team of Full Stack and AI Engineers. Conduct rigorous code reviews, promote best practices, and help team members level up their skills.
- Process Improvement:

Establish and refine Agile workflows (Scrum/Kanban), CI/CD pipelines, and documentation standards.
- Hiring & Growth:

Assist in defining technical requirements for future hires and participating in the recruitment process as the team expands.

3. Operational Excellence (DevOps)

• Infrastructure as Code:

Implement and maintain automated deployment processes (using tools like Terraform, Docker, or Kubernetes) to ensure reliable releases.
- Performance Monitoring:

Own the health of our production systems. Implement monitoring and alerting to proactively resolve bottlenecks in database queries, API response times, and server load.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience:

5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 1-2 years in a Lead or Senior Architect role.
- Core Stack Mastery:

Deep expertise in 
, / TypeScript

and 
Python

. You know how to write clean, maintainable, and typed code.
- Microservices Expert:

Proven track record of breaking down monoliths. You understand Event-Driven Architecture, Message Queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka/Redis), and how to avoid "distributed monoliths."
- Cloud Native:

Strong experience with 
AWS

(Lambda, EC2, RDS) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/ECS). Experience managing bare-metal or multi-cloud setups is a significant plus.
- Database Design:

Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL database design, caching strategies (Redis), and data migration.

Bonus Points

• Experience with 
  Voice AI

, LLMs, or LangChain/LangGraph.
- Experience optimizing high-traffic applications for SEO and Core Web Vitals.
- Knowledge of WebSockets and real-time communication protocols.
