Detail Duties And Responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of Supervisors to gain practical knowledge and experience in Operation and Maintenance of Power Plant Equipment, ex. Turbine, Boiler, BOP, HV system and Plant Control and Protection system.
• Ensure that there is good co-ordination within the department and with other departments.
• Support to other departments for continual improvement of the system.
• Perform Preventive maintenance under guidance of Supervisor and generate field reports.
• Participate in trouble shooting/fault diagnosis/failure analysis to address failure and breakdown of equipment under guidance of supervisor.
• Learn to interpret P&ID, Schematic Drawings, Single Line Diagrams, Logic Diagrams under the guidance of Supervisor.
• Bring up EHS concerns to the attention of section manager or EHS department for immediate action.
• Be vigilant in the work area, identify and report to their supervisors about imminent dangers / hazards / concerns to environment, health, and safety.
• Always follow the standard Operations Control Procedures and good EHS practices such as lifesaving rules, reporting of near misses, PTW compliance etc. so as to avoid any activity which might lead to EHS incidents / nonconformities.
• Participate in EHS trainings and awareness sessions/ campaigns.
• Perform SPOT SAFE & HSSE Inspection as per compliance requirements.
• Perform tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor as and when required.
• Follow sound environmental practices for conservation of natural resources, good housekeeping, and proper waste disposals on and off duty.
• Participate in comprehensive training programs to develop knowledge and skills in combined cycle power plant operations, including gas turbines, steam turbines, heat recovery steam generators (HRSG), and balance of plant (BOP) systems.
• Assist senior engineers and operators in monitoring and controlling plant parameters, performance indicators, and alarm systems to ensure optimal operation and efficiency.
• Support troubleshooting efforts during equipment breakdowns or outages, collaborating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols, procedures, and regulations governing power plant operations, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
• Maintain accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, equipment performance, and regulatory compliance measures.
• Prepare reports, log sheets, and shift handovers to communicate operational status, incidents, and noteworthy observations to supervisory staff.

Candidate having B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from any recognized college/university/institution are requested to apply online at Computer literacy is desirable.
