Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager, Finance & Accounts

Position: Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager, Finance & Accounts
Job Context: Overall responsible for Insurance Finance
Major Responsibilities:
- Prior experience in relevant industry will be an advantage
- At least 5–6 years of experience in a managerial or role
- Required Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, and financial reporting
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong experience in annual budgeting and financial planning.
- Strong experience in cost control and expense management.
- Oversee and manage all financial and accounting operations
- Monitor daily revenue, expenses, cash flow, and financial transactions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Develop and control budgets; conduct variance and financial analysis
- Ensure proper compliance with VAT, Tax, TDS, and other statutory requirements
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely completion
- Maintain effective liaison with banks, vendors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities
- Supervise accounts staff and ensure accuracy and efficiency in work
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Masters
- Bachelor & Master of Commerce (BCom), (MCom)
- MBA (Finance) will be preferred
- Students for public University will get first preference.
- CA (Partly Qualified) / CC qualified candidates will get preference
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 5 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Insurance
Additional Requirements
- 3-5 years and above in relevant field
- The candidate should be a Bangladeshi National.
- Must be a strong team player, organized and efficient.
