Role Description

This is a contract role for a Mental Health and Psychosocial Specialist. The role is based on-site in Cox's Bazar. In this position, the specialist will provide mental health and psychosocial support services to clients, conduct assessments, develop and implement intervention plans, and provide training to staff. The specialist will also collaborate with other professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.

Qualifications

  • Clinical skills in mental health and psychosocial support, including assessment and intervention planning
  • Experience in training and capacity building of staff and peers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work in diverse settings
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • Previous experience working in humanitarian settings is a plus
  • Fluency in English and local languages
