is looking for
GM- Tender
Job Description / Responsibility
- Review tender documents to evaluate the project scope and provide recommendations to the direct manager accordingly.
- Carefully review contract conditions and ensure they are considered during tender preparation.
- Distribute tasks among team members, monitor their performance, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
- Receive queries from the team, review them, make necessary amendments, and submit them to the direct manager or client to obtain required project information.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients as needed to facilitate the tendering process and comply with the project timeline.
- Conduct site visits with clients when required, either to present ongoing projects or to inspect client sites.
- Review direct and indirect cost sheets, as well as the summary (top) sheet, and make necessary amendments in coordination with the Tender Team Leader and Senior Tender Engineer.
- Review the technical file after collecting all required documents to ensure it accurately reflects the organization's capabilities before submission to the client.
- Negotiate with clients and revise the tender as required to secure the project award.
- Coordinate the contracting process with the Contract Department to ensure compliance with both client and organizational requirements.
- Manage the handover of project documents and requirements to the operations team.
- Lead, supervise, and coach the tendering team, providing guidance and support as needed.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil Engineering
Experience Requirements
- At least 15 year(s)
