Incepted in 2017, Ananta Intimates and Active Wear is SBU of Ananta group. Located in Chittagong export processing zone, Ananta Intimates and Active Wear operates a 360,000-square-foot facility equipped with 100 production lines dedicated to lingerie, underwear, swimwear and active wear. The company prides itself on its in-house design capabilities, live and dummy fitting, fabric molding, bonding, and foam and fabric lamination under one roof. Ananta Intimates and Active Wear serves the dynamic needs of its valuable customers with a focus on quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities - Fabric Manager:

  • Lead fabric sourcing and development for
    woven, knit, and activewear
    categories.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, innovation, and cost efficiency.
  • Make
    technical decisions
    on fabric properties, performance, and suitability for production.
  • Coordinate with internal merchandising, design, and production teams to ensure timely fabric approval.
  • Maintain and expand a strong network of
    local and overseas mills/suppliers
    .
  • Monitor market trends and identify new fabric innovations to enhance product range.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7
    –10 years of experience
    in fabric sourcing and development (garment industry).
  • Strong knowledge of
    fabric composition, finishing, testing, and performance standards
    .
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Established
    connections with both local and international fabric sources
    .
