Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Sylhet for an Environmental Health and Safety Officer. The role involves implementing and monitoring health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and conducting regular occupational health and safety assessments. Additional responsibilities include identifying potential hazards, delivering safety training programs, preparing reports, and improving workplace safety practices to minimize risks within the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) principles.
• Experience in Occupational Health and Workplace Safety protocols and regulations.
• NEBOSH certification or equivalent in environmental health and safety management.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a proactive approach to managing risks and hazards.
• Strong communication, team coordination, and training skills to effectively promote safety practices among staff members.
• Prior experience in facility management or industrial environments will be an added advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field is preferred.
