Head of Land

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall land acquisition strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term development goals.
• Identify and evaluate potential land opportunities through market research and site visits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, brokers, agents, and regulatory authorities.
• Negotiate land purchase, joint venture, or development agreements with stakeholders.
• Conduct due diligence on land ownership, legal status, land use permissions, and regulatory approvals.
• Oversee land documentation processes including deeds, agreements, and registrations in compliance with applicable laws.
• Collaborate with the legal department to resolve disputes, encumbrances, or litigation issues related to land.
• Prepare feasibility reports and business cases for management decision-making.
• Ensure timely completion of land acquisition to meet project launch targets.
• Lead and manage the Land team to achieve departmental objectives.
• Keep updated with government policies, zoning laws, and market trends impacting real estate and land development.
