Good Neighbors is an international humanitarian, development and non-governmental organization with membership in General Consultative Status in the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). Winner of MDG 2 award 2007 and UNESCO-Hamdan Prize for Teacher Development 2024, Good Neighbors Bangladesh (GNB) is operating 17 Community Development Projects (CDP) and 2 Projects with Specific Program (PSP) in 13 districts for child protection, education, health, women empowerment, income generating activities, DRR and Rohingya emergency response activities. Good Neighbors Bangladesh (GNB) intends to recruit suitable personnel for the following position:
Responsibilities
a) CSR Fundraising and Proposal Development:
• Identify CSR opportunities with Korean, national and international companies operating in Bangladesh.
• Develop high-quality, customized funding proposals in English and/or Korean with clear impact goals, budgets, and implementation plans.
• Maintain a strong track record of successful proposal submissions and follow-ups with donors.
• Work closely with internal teams to align proposals with organizational priorities and donor interests.
b) Korean Community Engagement:
• Design and implement initiatives to engage Korean residents in Bangladesh for one-time and recurring donations.
• Build strong relationships with Korean individuals, families, and groups to increase awareness and support for Good Neighbors programs.
• Organize community events, donation drives, and networking sessions in collaboration with Korean associations.
c) Stakeholder Relationship Management:
• Represent Good Neighbors Bangladesh in meetings and events involving Korean and other's stakeholders.
• Support communication and coordination between the organization and the Korean Embassy, business communities, and cultural networks.
• Maintain an updated database of Korean, national and international donors contacts, and potential partners in Bangladesh
d) Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare timely reports, donor updates, and success stories in English.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all fundraising, engagement, and partnership activities.
Qualifications
Basic Requirement:
a) Education: Master's degree (preferred) in Development Studies, International Relations, Business, or a related field
b) Age: No limitations
Experience
: Minimum 03 years' work experience in similar sector (experience with only evidence and relevance will count).
Contract Information:
Salary and Others: Consolidated Remuneration Tk 60,000 (per month). Plus 100% festival bonus, 15 days paid leave excluding public holidays and training opportunities for career development.
Contract Period:
1 years (including minimum 3 months' probation period), Renewable consideration on performance
Capacity Requirement:
• Has strong skills in grant writing, concept note and project proposal development, as well as in negotiating with donors.
• Proven experience in proposal writing, especially for CSR and ODA or international donors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially cross-cultural communication.
• Previous experience in Grant writing with NGOs or donor-funded projects is a strong advantage.
• Master's degree (preferred) in Development Studies, International Relations, Business, or related field.
