We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking professional to join us as the Senior Manager, Frontier Technology & Climate Innovations. In this role, you will lead the identification, assessment, and integration of emerging technologies and climate-responsive solutions across BRAC's programmes, ensuring the organization stays at the forefront of leveraging non-traditional technologies to enhance outcomes in health, education, agriculture, WASH, and skills development, with a strong focus on inclusion and impact for marginalized communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scan the horizon for emerging and non-traditional technologies—AI, digital health, blockchain, IoT, climate-tech, agri-tech, recycling etc.—with potential to enhance BRAC's development impact.
• Build cross-sectoral partnerships with tech firms, research institutions, climate networks, and donors to co-develop innovation projects.
• Develop investment cases, implementation frameworks, and adaptive toolkits that enable BRAC programmes to localise, contextualise, and ethically integrate frontier technologies—ensuring inclusion, equity, and operational fit across diverse sectors.
• Design, manage, and evaluate frontier tech and climate innovation pilots—applying human-centred design, ethical AI principles, and data protection standards—while generating actionable evidence and policy recommendations for scale, programme integration, or ecosystem engagement.
• Conduct immersive field engagements across BRAC programme areas to identify user needs, test prototypes, validate feasibility, and ensure contextual relevance of frontier tech and climate solutions.
• Build capacity of internal teams through toolkits, trainings, and advisory support on responsible tech use and climate adaptation strategies.
• Lead the climate innovation and digital resilience workstreams within SIL, ensuring alignment with BRAC's long-term strategy.
• Represent SIL and BRAC at regional/global forums on tech for development and climate innovation, amplifying BRAC's thought leadership.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

Additional Job Requirements:

• Expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, with strong programming, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in project and portfolio management, agile delivery methods, and procurement and contract administration.
• Skilled in human-centred design, systems thinking, and innovation-focused MEL, with foundational knowledge of data protection and AI ethics.
• Strong communicator and facilitator, adept at preparing briefs, decision notes, and managing diverse stakeholders effectively.
• Technically proficient with PM trackers, Jira, Trello, Google Workspace, and MS 365; familiarity with AI product lifecycles is an advantage.
• Collaborative and adaptable professional with a continuous learning mindset and a passion for driving social impact through innovation.

Educational Requirements:

Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, ICT, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Environmental Science, Public Policy, Business, or any other relevant field from a recognized university.
PMP certification will be considered as an advantage.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in technology and innovation, and/or climate and digital development within large organizations or INGOs, with substantial experience in managing multi-pilot portfolios, vendor and partner performance, and cross-functional coordination across finance, procurement, MEAL, and field operations.
