The Role

We are seeking a mid-level experienced iOS Developer to take a leading role in the design, development, and maintenance of our premium iOS and tvOS applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers and backend engineers to create a seamless, high-performance, and visually stunning streaming experience for our users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance
     our flagship OTT applications for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV using Swift and Objective-C.
  • Implement and optimize
     video streaming technologies (HLS, DRM solutions) to ensure reliable and high-quality playback.
  • Collaborate
     with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features within an Agile environment.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
     following Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug
     issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement robust solutions.
  • Integrate
     third-party APIs for analytics, authentication, payment processing, and advertising (if applicable).
  • Stay current
     with the latest iOS technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to keep our platform competitive.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience
     as an iOS Developer with a strong portfolio of apps published on the App Store.
  • Proficiency
     in Swift and experience with Objective-C.
  • Deep understanding
     of the iOS ecosystem, including Foundation, UIKit, Auto Layout, and Grand Central Dispatch (GCD).
  • Experience
     with media playback frameworks (AVFoundation, Core Media) and video streaming protocols (HLS).
  • Familiarity
     with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to backend services.
  • Strong knowledge
     of object-oriented design patterns (MVVM, MVC) and modern software architecture principles.
  • Experience
     with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving
     and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience
     developing for tvOS (Apple TV).
  • Familiarity
     with DRM technologies (FairPlay Streaming).
  • Knowledge
     of analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.
  • A passion
     for media, entertainment, and digital streaming technologies.

B.Sc in CSE/Software Engineering/IT (or equivalent). Practical experience will

be prioritized over education.
