Medical Technologist (Laboratory Medicine)

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Skilled in sample collection, handling, and processing.
  • Strict adherence to protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure reliable results.
  • Vigilance to prevent contamination or errors during testing.
  • Expertise in operating and maintaining laboratory instruments and equipment (e.g., microscopes, analyzers).
  • Proficiency in performing diagnostic tests in hematology, microbiology, biochemistry, pathology, immunology, and other disciplines.
  • Knowledge of laboratory automation systems and advanced testing techniques. Ability to analyze and interpret test results accurately.
  • Critical thinking to identify anomalies or inconsistencies in test outcomes. Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment or procedural issues.

Educational Requirements

  • Diploma in Medical Technology
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc)

Experience Requirements

  • At least 2 year(s)
