Sr. Graphic Designer- Knit Garments (Head Office)

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Ensure the timely and successful design and development of products in line with the customers` requirement.
  • Research latest fashion trends in the market and competitor activities.
  • Coordinate with key personnel involved in production of knit fabric, drawing and cutting patterns and constructing samples for finished garments
  • Assembling seasonal forecasts and creating designs to feed the demand
  • Identify target markets for designs, looking at factors such as age, gender and socioeconomic status
  • Sketch rough and detailed drawings of apparel or accessories, and write specifications such as color schemes, construction, material types, and others requirements.
  • Supervise the making up of sample garments and overseeing production.
  • Plan and develop ranges and adapting existing designs for buyer development & in-house production.
  • Create visually compelling designs for patterns, prints, and artworks in line with seasonal collections.
  • Develop digital and print-ready content for presentations as per buyer guidelines and visual identity.
  • Experiment with innovative design techniques and tools to enhance the creative output of the team.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fashion Designing
  • [Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology, BGMEA University of Fashion Technology ]students will get preference
  • Training/Trade Course:graphics Designing Course
  • Skills Required: Fashion Design, Knit garments, Graphic Design

Experience Requirements

  • At least 6 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  • Fashion Designing
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Garments,Textile

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 06 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in the fashion or textile industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Understanding of garment construction, textures, and materials.
  • Soft Skills: Strong creativity and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in designing for international apparel markets. Knowledge of knitwear apparels
