Sr. Manager – Freight Forwarding
Experience: Minimum 10 Years | Location: Uttara, Dhaka.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Able to handle the Freight Team as a leader.
Oversee daily operations (Export/Import) and staff (Air & Sea).
Negotiate rates (Air & Sea) with overseas agents, local carriers and vendors.
Handle client inquiries and escalated issues.
Handle customer communication and resolve shipment-related issues.
Manage documentation (AWB, B/L, Invoices), Delivery timelines and ensure service quality.
Supervise Customer Service team and coordinate with C&F agents and operations.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Export/import and customs regulations.
Monitor documentation, delivery timelines, and service quality.
Prepare operational reports and inform to the Management.
Salary: BDT100k+ Other benefits

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Manager located in Uttara. The Senior Manager will be responsible for strategic planning, team leadership, and overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure business goals are met. Key responsibilities include managing cross-functional teams, optimizing processes to enhance efficiency, and effectively communicating objectives and results with stakeholders. The role also involves mentoring team members, driving growth initiatives, and ensuring the alignment of projects with the company's overall strategies.
Qualifications
Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams towards shared goals
Strategic planning and operational improvement expertise, including skills in streamlining and optimizing business processes for efficiency
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with team members, stakeholders, and executives
Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to address complex challenges and deliver impactful results
Relevant industry experience and a proven track record of successful project management and growth initiatives
Bachelor's or higher degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
Proficiency in analytical tools and software is a plus
