Job Description:

  • The General Manager (Chief Engineer) will be responsible for leading the Engineering Department. As the departmental head, the Chief Engineer will oversee the planning, execution, and supervision of all civil construction works. The role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in B.Sc. Civil Engineering from a reputed university.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 20 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Real Estate

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 20 years of practical experience in the real estate sector.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end project execution, from feasibility studies and design coordination to project handover and post-completion support.
  • Strong expertise in structural design coordination, value engineering, and construction optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of local building codes, BNBC, safety regulations, and statutory compliance.
  • Extensive experience in contract administration, tendering processes, BOQ preparation, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation.
  • Strong understanding of cost control, budgeting, cash flow management, and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, leadership, and team management skills.
