Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant General Manager - Industrial Engineering (Head of the Department) based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The AGM-IE will be responsible for overseeing the entire IE department, streamlining production processes, optimizing resource allocation, and improving operational efficiency. Daily tasks include managing a team of engineers, analyzing production data, implementing process improvements, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and coordinating with other departments to enhance overall productivity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, and Process Optimization
• Ability to lead and manage a team of engineers
• Strong analytical skills, with the capability to analyze production data and implement process improvements
• Knowledge of quality standards and compliance regulations
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• Experience in the garment manufacturing industry is a plus
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems
