Job Summary:

At EZTrainz we are creating a smarter, simpler way to learn languages through structured, interactive, and intuitive design. We are seeking a passionate UI Designer who excels at solving education and learning experience challenges by crafting clean, scalable, and visually compelling user interfaces. This role will be instrumental in shaping the design language of EZTrainz, defining how learners interact, visualize progress, and engage with content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design intuitive, elegant learning interfaces optimized for clarity, focus, and user motivation.
  • Build and maintain a scalable design system that enables rapid iteration and ensures cross-platform consistency.
  • Create high-fidelity prototypes and interactive mockups that effectively bring learning flows and app features to life.
  • Collaborate closely with product and content teams to address education-specific UX challenges.
  • Utilize data, user feedback, and usability insights to continuously refine learning experiences.
  • Ensure visual and interaction design coherence across mobile apps, web platforms, and learning modules.
  • Stay current with UI trends, especially within the edtech, mobile learning, and product design ecosystems.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong portfolio showcasing modern, clean UI design work, preferably within apps or learning/product environments.
  • Expertise in Figma, including component systems, auto layout, prototyping, and variant management.
  • Deep understanding of typography, color theory, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
  • Solid grasp of UX principles, usability testing, and user flow design.
  • Experience building or maintaining design systems from the ground up.
  • Curiosity about the impact of design on learning and retention outcomes.
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience designing for edtech, language learning, or other educational products.
  • Knowledge of motion design, micro-interactions, or gamified UI elements.
  • Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
