About the role:
The role is focused on acquiring the necessary goods and services for Aarong Dairy's operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely supply of materials, especially raw milk and other dairy-related inputs, which are the backbone of the dairy enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective, timely and quality supply of goods and services
- Monitor markets for price trends, product innovations, and supplier capabilities for better sourcing decisions
- Identify, evaluate and establish relationships with reliable suppliers while negotiating favorable pricing, quality, capability and delivery terms
- Continuously review supplier performance and take development initiatives or generate alternative sourcing solutions when needed
- Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, including logistics, legal and compliances, political instability, price fluctuations, process and operational risk and supplier relationship challenges
- Integrate sustainability and ethical considerations into supplier selection and procurement practices
- Lead and supervise the procurement team, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management
- Continuous collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams (finance, production, logistics, quality) to ensure seamless procurement operations
- Establish procurement KPIs, cost savings achieved, meet on time or flexible delivery, compliance rate, stakeholder satisfaction score, supplier yearly performance and improvement initiatives and prepare periodic performance reports for senior management
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen stakeholder relationships
- Ensure procurement policies and practices comply with company standards, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements
- Implement internal controls to minimize procurement risks, fraud, or misuse
- Support Audits and maintain the documentation as per company policies
- Uphold corporate safeguarding standards, promote a safe and ethical workplace, and report any incidents in line with company procedures
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
Additional Job Requirements:
- Educational qualification will be relaxed for more experience candidates
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management Procedures, Database Management, Inventory Management, Financial Analysis, Procurement
- Solution driven, smart, approachable and possesses ability to work with people from different backgrounds
- Must be able to design Strategic planning, Budgeting, Monitoring tools and Techniques, Independent and capable of independent decision making, thinking out of box.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
The candidate must have a graduation with a minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations (preferably subjects: engineering subjects, supply chain, operation management). Also, a PGD in Supply Chain Management is preferable.
In addition, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; and a proactive attitude and goal-oriented mindset, as well as effective stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience.
