About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Mid to Senior Level SQA Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through test planning, execution, automation, and continuous improvement. This role requires strong analytical skills, test automation knowledge, and a passion for delivering quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web/mobile/API applications.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of the Agile development process.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright
  • Report, track, and manage bugs using tools like Jira or similar.
  • Perform regression, smoke, sanity, functional, and integration testing
  • Support CI/CD processes with integration of automated tests
  • Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to QA process improvement initiatives
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation and test strategies

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in software testing.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation (e.g., Playwright).
  • Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • ISTQB or other relevant certifications.
