Role Description

This is a full-time Study Abroad Counselor role for the UK & Australia, based on-site in Dhaka. The counselor will work closely with students to understand their interests and career goals, provide guidance on study abroad opportunities, and assist with the application process. Responsibilities include counseling students and parents about available courses, universities, and scholarships, following up on student applications, coordinating with partner institutions, and addressing queries related to visas and other requirements. The role also involves staying informed about study abroad trends and creating individualized academic and career paths for students.

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the UK & Australian education systems, universities, and application processes
  • Counseling, communication, and interpersonal skills for engaging with students and their families
  • Proficiency in research, organizational, and planning skills to assist with application and visa processes
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Experience with managing inquiries and developing personalized action plans
  • Previous experience in counseling or education consultation is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in any field; a degree in Education, Counseling, or related fields is an advantage
  • Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
