The Earth is a youth-led NGO working on climate action, sustainable development, and community empowerment. We focus on research, awareness, policy advocacy, and programmes that engage youth, women, and vulnerable communities.

Position Overview

The
Officer – Programme, Grants & Partnership Development
will support programme planning, proposal writing, donor reporting, and partnership coordination. The role is ideal for someone with
2–4 years of experience
in development programmes, climate/environment projects, or grants management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Programme Support

  • Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring ongoing projects.
  • Conduct basic research, data collection, and prepare programme briefs.
  • Support coordination with field teams and partners for smooth project execution.

2. Proposal & Grants Support

  • Help draft concept notes, proposals, workplans, and simple budgets.
  • Support tracking grant deadlines, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
  • Assist in preparing donor reports (narrative + supporting documents).

3. Partnership & Donor Coordination

  • Support communication with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare meeting notes, presentations, and briefing materials.
  • Assist in organizing donor visits, workshops, or joint activities.

4. Monitoring & Reporting

  • Coordinate with the MEAL team for data collection and documentation.
  • Support baseline/endline surveys and progress tracking.
  • Assist in maintaining project files, reports, and documentation.

5. Communication & Advocacy Support

  • Help prepare content for reports, policy briefs, social media, and publications.
  • Support event planning for campaigns, trainings, and advocacy events.

Required Qualifications

Education

Master's or Bachelor's degree in:

  • Development Studies
  • Climate Change & Sustainability
  • Environmental Science
  • Social Sciences
  • Business Administration (Development-related preferred) or any relevant discipline.

Experience

  • 2–4 years
    of experience in NGOs or development organizations.
  • Experience in partnership and fund-raising support, proposal writing, reporting, or donor coordination is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Good writing and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of partnership/fundraising/project/grant management.
  • Ability to work with multiple teams and handle deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office & Google Workspace.
  • Knowledge of climate change, environment, or sustainable development issues is a plus.
