Job Description / Responsibility

Christian Service Society (CSS), a renowned national NGO, has been implementing various projects and programs across the country for the well-being of impoverished and disadvantaged people. Ava Center is one of the interventions of the CSS. Located at Rupsha Natun Bazar, Khulna, this training and resource center provides clients with comprehensive training, meeting spaces, dining, and accommodation facilities, all conveniently situated in one location. It stands as one of CSS`s income-generating projects. We are currently looking for an experienced "Sales & Marketing Officer" who will be responsible for necessary marketing initiatives for the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective strategic marketing plan.
  • Carry out person-to-person/doorstep marketing and promotional activities.
  • Prepare and update potential clients` database.
  • Introduce and initiate new and innovative ideas/tools for effective marketing.
  • Distribute promotional materials (brochure/leaflet/catalogue etc.) to prospective clients
  • Conduct market survey time to time to have a clear conception about clients` needs, requirements and demands.
  • Regularly visit GO/NGO, Companies, Corporate offices, factories etc.
  • Give ideas to make the center`s services more appealing to clients.
  • Maintain contact and build relationship with the clients through phone calls, mails and personal visits.
  • Visit other cities or areas of the country to promote brand image and services.
  • Interact with ad agencies, public relations firms, media and event management groups when necessary.
  • Attend official meetings and ensure proper communication and planning.
  • Any other task assigned by the management.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor in Marketing / Master`s in Marketing
  • Academic qualification will be relaxed for experienced candidates.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 2 year(s)

Additional Requirements

  • Applicants should have 2 years of experience in a hotel, training center, resort, or a comparable establishment as a Marketing Officer.
  • Skillful in Digital Marketing, verbal communications and reporting.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Able to ride motorcycle with a valid driving license.
  • Willingness to work extra hours is expected.
