Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Technology Lead to drive the end-to-end development of a large-scale, modular ERP system being built from scratch for our retail and manufacturing operations. The solution will be developed on the .NET Core platform following a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), covering more than 10 integrated modules.

The Technology Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping technical vision, making critical technology decisions, designing scalable and fault-tolerant systems, leading the internal and external development teams, ensuring adherence to project timelines, leading the post go-live operations and maintenance and collaborating closely with business stakeholders, the project manager, and senior management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end architecture of the ERP and other enterprise applications with a focus on modularity, scalability, performance, and fault-tolerance.
• Define and enforce technical architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
• Make key technology decisions on frameworks, tools, integrations, deployment and performance strategies.
• Translate high-level architectural designs into detailed technical tasks and ensure smooth execution.
• Lead and drive the end-to-end technical development of the ERP solution as well as other enterprise applications.
• Lead the orchestration of event-driven workflows and integration strategies for both internal and external systems.
• Collaborate with business users, senior management, and the project manager to capture and analyze requirements, translate them into technical designs, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Manage a distributed development team comprising internal and third-party developers.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, CI/CD practices, version control, and release strategies. Mentor developers and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in system design reviews, code reviews, performance tuning, and incident root-cause analysis.
• Ensure that security measures, logging, and observability practices are embedded into all services.
• Ensure timely delivery of all technical milestones within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Leading the post go-live operations and maintenance following IT service management practices (ITIL and ISO 20000)
• Proactively identify risks, technical challenges, and dependencies and propose effective mitigation solutions.
• Ensure the system is scalable, secure, and maintainable for long-term business use.
• Drive the near real-time data ingestion to the data warehouse and data lake (e.g., via Kafka, CDC, or any other data warehousing tools or custom event pipelines).
• Define technical guardrails, security policies, and platform-level standards.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
• Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.

Qualifications:

Education:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

Experience:

• 12 years of experience in enterprise software development, including a minimum of 5 years in technical leadership and architecture roles.
• Proven track record of developing and delivering large-scale enterprise applications and distributed systems like ERP solutions using.NET Core, RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging, microservices design, etc.
• Strong understanding of event-driven systems, asynchronous messaging (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and event sourcing.
• Experience with large-scale data platforms and near real-time data pipelines.

Additional preferred skills:

• Deep understanding of modern API design, identity/access management, and OpenAPI standards.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Open Telemetry).
• Experience with database technologies: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and columnar stores for data warehousing (e.g., Big Query, Snowflake).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) is a plus.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core, Web APIs, Angular JS/ReactJS/Node JS, Microservices/SOA architectures, SQL Server/Postgress/MySQL/MongoDB.
• Sound understanding of software engineering principles, testing methodologies, Agile practices as well as CMMI (Dev) Level3 guidelines and practices
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design frameworks and advanced architectural patterns.
• Experienced in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Knowledge and practical experience in IT Service Management practices for application management (ITIL and ISO 20000)
