Trainee Engineer (Commercial)
Detail duties and responsibilities:

• Work under the guidance of Supervisors to gain practical knowledge and experience in handling Warehouse activities, Procurement from the local and overseas markets, Compliance to the regulatory requirements, Revenue collection from BPDB, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of Commercial Dept., etc.
• Ensure that there is a good coordination within the Commercial department and with other departments
• Provide supports to other departments for continual improvement of the associated systems
• Under the guidance of the Supervisors, perform Stock management, Receipt and Issuance of spare parts, consumables, Physical stock counting, etc. in the Warehouse
• To render max. efforts for getting familiarized with all the spare parts, consumables, machineries of the power plant
• Under the guidance of the Supervisors, to maintain the files of all the Requisitions, Quotations, Purchase orders, Contracts, Waivers, Email communications, LCA and Shipping documents in plant server system and keeping track for taking timely actions on those
• Assist the Supervisors in preparing summary of the Purchase orders and the Services, PO cycle time, lead time, LC/LCA status, Shipment status, Delivery status, Vendors' Payment status and Payment cycle time, Contracts management, etc.
• Assist the Supervisors in conducting yearly Vendor evaluations, closing of open POs, preparing Cost saving reports, preparing Diligent reports, etc. and preserving the files in the server system
• Assist Supervisor and visit relevant govt. offices/entities, banks, customs house, etc. for renewal of permits and licenses, collection of revenue, collection of shipping documents, making payments, liaise with the respective departments for timely preparing and submission of the required documents
• To maintain and preserve all documents/files of Customs, LC/LCA issuing banks, Shipping documents, Insurances, C&F bills, Letters issued to the govt. entities, BPDB in the server for tracking & taking timely actions and also for future use
• Be vigilant in the work area, identify and report to the supervisors about imminent dangers / hazards / concerns to environment, health, and safety
• Participate in EHS trainings and Awareness sessions/campaigns, etc.
• Perform tasks as assigned by the supervisors as and when required.

Candidate having B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from any recognized college/university/institution are requested to apply online at Computer literacy is a must.
