Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as the Head of Sourcing and Procurement based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Head of Sourcing and Procurement will be responsible for overseeing procurement strategies, supplier negotiations, and contract management to ensure cost optimization and quality excellence. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining supplier relationships, identifying new sourcing opportunities, managing supply chain operations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role also involves creating budgets, preparing procurement reports, and leading a team to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in sourcing, procurement, supplier negotiation, and supply chain management
  • Proficiency in contract drafting, vendor relationship management, and cost optimization
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP systems relevant to procurement
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A deep understanding of the garments, textile, and apparel industry is highly beneficial
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree is preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior procurement or supply chain role
