Senior Video Editor
to join our creative team.

Position Overview

The
Senior Video Editor
will lead the post-production process for a wide range of audio-visual content including TVCs, OVCs, documentaries, corporate videos, event highlight reels, and digital-first content. This role requires not only technical expertise in editing software but also a strong creative vision to tell compelling stories that align with client goals and Barnamala's standard of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the editing of
    TVCs, OVCs, AVs, documentaries, and social media content
    from raw footage to final delivery.
  • Collaborate with directors, producers, motion designers, and the creative team to shape engaging narratives.
  • Apply advanced editing techniques, color grading, sound design, and visual effects to enhance video quality.
  • Ensure brand consistency and creative alignment across all outputs.
  • Oversee the workflow of junior editors and freelancers, providing guidance and feedback.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery under tight deadlines.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in video production and digital storytelling.
  • Maintain and organize video assets, project files, and archives for efficient workflow.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Film, Media, Communication, or related field
    (preferred but not mandatory with strong portfolio).
  • 5+ years of professional video editing experience
    , preferably in an agency, production house, or media company.
  • Expertise in
    Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, and related editing tools
    .
  • Strong storytelling ability with an eye for pacing, rhythm, and emotional impact.
  • Experience in
    motion graphics, color grading, and sound mixing
    is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative creative team.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and deadline management.
