Key Responsibilities

  • The candidate will be responsible for selling specialty Food ingredients to the every category of end user in Food and Beverage processing/ manufacturing.
  • The candidate will be responsible for growth of sales and profitability of existing sales & new customer developments and will be responsible for their own Region.
  • Candidate will also be responsible for mining out market information, through regular customer interactions, educating customers about specific product lines and closing business and maintaining such accounts.
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.
  • Develop information by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features.
  • Maintain proficiency in updating, tracking and submitting reports to Industry Manager.
  • Adept at maintaining and updating customer data and feedback on a real time basis in Microsoft Dynamics software and has the ability to discuss commercial matters if need be.
  • Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team.
  • Should be willing to travel to meet customer for new projects, building relationship, understand needs and solve queries.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate should be B.Tech (Food)/Bsc. Chemistry/ Chemical engineering/B.Pharm/BS in Biochemistry & Biotechnology.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant sales experience
  • 2-5 years of selling experience of Food Ingredient to raw material to Food and Beverage processing/ manufacturing industry is must
  • Strong communication skills, organized player with strong ethics.
