As a Senior Backend Developer and Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the design, architecture, and development of scalable and secure backend systems. You will lead a talented team of developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions while mentoring junior team members and driving best practices in backend development.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

Leadership & Mentorship:
Lead and mentor the backend development team, fostering collaboration, best practices, and skill development.

System Architecture:
Architect, design, and implement backend services, RESTful APIs, and real-time features with a focus on scalability, security, and maintainability.

Technical Execution:
Break down business requirements into structured, efficient technical solutions and oversee their successful implementation.

Code Review & Quality Assurance:
Conduct code reviews, ensuring high-quality standards, security, and performance, while providing constructive feedback to junior developers.

Optimization & Scaling:
Optimize system performance, including database queries (e.g., MySQL) and backend processes for scalability and reliability.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.

Production Support:
Take ownership of production environments, addressing issues promptly and ensuring high system availability and uptime.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 & 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞:

Backend Expertise:
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with , including experience with and NestJS frameworks.

Database Management:
Expertise in MySQL with proven experience in writing optimized, scalable queries. Familiarity with Redis for caching and background job management.

API Design:
Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs, ensuring scalability, security, and ease of use.

Cloud & DevOps:
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions). Knowledge of deployment workflows and modern DevOps practices.

Microservices & Real-time Features:
Experience designing and maintaining microservices architecture. Familiarity with real-time communication platforms such as AWS Chime, Agora, or Pusher.

Payment Integration:
Experience with integrating payment systems like SSLCommerz, Bkash, or Nagad.

Security & Performance:
Strong understanding of backend security practices, debugging techniques, and performance optimization.

NestJS:
Progressive framework for scalable server-side applications.

Redis:
In-memory data store (caching, pub/sub).

Elasticsearch:
Search and analytics engine.

MySQL:
Relational database.

Docker:
Containerization for consistent deployments.

Kubernetes:
Container orchestration and scalability.

𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬:

Team Player:
Must excel in a collaborative environment and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Mentorship & Communication:
Strong mentoring skills with the ability to guide and develop junior team members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ownership & Problem Solving: Ability to take full ownership of backend architecture and technical decisions. Proficient in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, security issues, and technical challenges.

Fast-Paced Environment:
Thrive in a fast-paced, iterative development environment typical of startups, with the ability to adapt to changing requirements.

Real-Time Features:
Experience integrating real-time features (video calls, chat, etc.) is a plus.

𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞:

Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in backend development, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.

𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 & 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞:

Scrum-based project management to ensure efficient delivery and continuous improvement.

Emphasis on clean code, design patterns, and best practices, including AWS, CI/CD, and automated testing.

A strong focus on continuous learning, innovation, and professional growth.

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬:

Salary: BDT 70,000 – 90,000 (Based on skills and experience).
