Job Description:

We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our backend engineering team.

You'll work closely with the technical lead to develop and enhance our microservices infrastructure, contribute to technical decisions, and help maintain high code quality standards across our AI telematics platform. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex technical challenges while collaborating with a skilled team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex microservices-based applications using Go
  • Build and optimize high-performance RESTful APIs for our telematics platform
  • Implement PostgreSQL database solutions, optimize queries, and ensure efficient data handling
  • Implement and maintain advanced caching strategies using Redis
  • Participate in code reviews, follow established coding standards, and contribute to best practices
  • Work with the technical lead on architectural decisions and system design
  • Monitor, profile, and optimize application performance
  • Guide junior developers and share knowledge within the team
  • Resolve complex technical issues and contribute to troubleshooting efforts
  • Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in backend development with solid technical growth
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on development experience with Go, including understanding of advanced Go concepts
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL including query optimization and performance considerations
  • Solid experience with microservices architecture and REST API development
  • Practical experience with Redis for caching and session management
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and basic DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of testing practices including unit and integration testing
  • Strong experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools
