Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Python Developer role at KAFA Automation Technology Co., Ltd., based in Shanghai, China. We are developing our own
CNC CAD/CAM Software.

Skills We Are Looking For

• Strong
  Python programming
  (OOP, modules, optimization)
• Experience with
  PyQt / PySide
  (or any GUI framework)
• Knowledge of
  geometry/vector / 2D–3D drawing algorithms
• Experience with DXF, SVG, STL, STEP file parsing
• Understanding of CNC G-code generation
• Familiar with toolpath logic
  :
• offsetting
• contouring
• pocketing
• V-carving
• roughing/finishing
• Optional but big advantage:
• C++ knowledge
• OpenCascade / FreeCAD API
• CAM simulation (like CAMotics)
• Machine kinematics (3-axis / 4-axis)

What You Will Build

• Full CAD workspace (line, arc, circle, trim, fillet…)
• DXF importer/exporter
• Toolpath engine for CNC
• G-code generator (for KAFA machines)
• Smart UI for users (similar to JD Soft)
