We are seeking a dedicated
A Grade Pharmacist
for
Aster Pharmacy Bangladesh
. The Pharmacist will be responsible for the safe, effective, and ethical dispensing of medications in accordance with DGDA guidelines and Model Pharmacy standards. The role includes patient counselling, inventory control, regulatory compliance, and maintaining high standards of pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient counselling on medication use, dosages, side effects, and adherence strategies.
- Ensure accurate dispensing of prescription and OTC medications, strictly following prescription guidelines and pharmacy protocols.
- Maintain strict compliance with DGDA regulations, Model Pharmacy standards, and internal SOPs.
- Oversee inventory management, including procurement, stock rotation, and monitoring expiry dates to prevent wastage.
- Conduct regular audits of batch records, expiry dates, and storage conditions to ensure product quality.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for all pharmacy transactions, narcotics, and restricted drugs.
- Supervise and guide junior staff or assistants to ensure safe and efficient workflow within the pharmacy.
- Address patient concerns and collaborate with healthcare providers for better therapeutic outcomes.
- Promote the rational use of medicines and ensure public health safety through awareness and guidance.
Qualifications:
- Must be a registered A Grade Pharmacist with valid PCB certification.
- 1–3 years of experience in model pharmacy.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, inventory control, and quality standards.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
Location:
Anywhere in Dhaka
Experience Required:
1–3 years (Model pharmacy experience preferred)
Schedule:
Roster-based, 9 hours duty, 6 days a week
