Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute the overall bancassurance strategy aligned with GDI PLC's business goals.
  • Identify and onboard new banking partners; expand product shelf across existing partnerships.
  • Drive annual business planning, forecasting, and target setting for all bancassurance channels.
  • Lead the development of new product concepts tailored for bank customer segments (retail, SME, corporate).
  • Introduce digital bancassurance initiatives for scaling distribution and improving customer experience.

Partnership & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison for all bank partnerships ensuring high engagement and long-term relationship value.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews, joint marketing initiatives, and performance monitoring with partner banks.
  • Manage SLAs and ensure smooth operational processes between GDI PLC and banking partners.

Sales & Distribution Excellence

  • Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of Bancassurance Team.
  • Support bank branch staff through product knowledge, training, and joint customer calls.

Risk & Operational Oversight

  • Ensure full compliance with IDRA, Bangladesh Bank, and GDI PLC standards related to bancassurance.
  • Monitor underwriting coordination, timely claim settlement, and customer service KPIs.
  • Oversee operational process optimization for smoother policy issuance, endorsements, and renewals.

Marketing & Engagement

  • Work with Brands & Communications to design joint campaigns, brochures, and digital content for banks.
  • Lead customer & partner engagement events, financial literacy programs, and awareness initiatives.

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in bancassurance, insurance sales, financial services, or partnership management.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, banking operations, distribution channels, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing channel strategies, sales plans, and partner-driven business models.
  • Solid knowledge of IDRA, Bangladesh Bank, and other compliance frameworks relevant to bancassurance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills—especially with senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and strong execution ability.
