- Ensure the total safety and security of the cash service facilities and vehicles and staffs by implementing and maintaining adequate physical safety and security measures in place.
- Provide security solution and technical support to reduce vulnerability and improve physical security system efficiency.
- Supervise National Control Centre and ensure service excellence through training.
- Develop and maintain security plans; monitor understanding and test Duress and Tiger Kidnap response procedures.
- Manage perimeter security, security lighting, locks and keys, visitor management, interlocks, shutter, guard operation, alarm and sensor, CCTV system, vehicle tracking system, fire smoke detection and fire extinguisher management.
- Ensure continual compliance of the MSP audit and self-assessment system; monitor and address areas of non-compliance. Follow up agreed deadline to verify corrective action taken by Branch staff.
- Conduct regular and random audits of all ATM, Customer, and Vehicle & Branch Keys; check tag / log activity; ensure compliance of procedures and documentation.
- Preparation, update, implementation and monitoring of local security related SOPs.
- Oversee vault audits and checks to ensure compliance of procedures.
- Monitor and ensure vehicle inspection procedure and completion of documentation.
- Administer inspections of ATM sites to monitor and review security and service issues.
- Direct and coordinate site security survey and assure quality of the survey.
- Investigate incidents of Attack and Internal Loss; assess issues of Risk and make recommendations; complete and submit full report to the MD/Group Management.
- Take co-responsibility for investigations upon formal request by the MD/Group Management/Cash Services Head.
- Investigate breaches of approved organizational policy and procedural violations, recommend action plan and suggest improvement areas.
- Supervise covert & overt surveillance on CIT/ATM crew; address non-compliance, report and recommend remedial and/or disciplinary action.
- Managing background screening, vetting and re-vetting activities and ensure documentation.
- Liaise with local police; establish and maintain regular contact; report on issues of concern and outcome of meetings.
- Monitor, analyze and manage insurance policies, operating limits and claims.
- Undertake research/technical/project based work as assigned from management.
- Analyze, forecast and disseminate relevant intelligence to the reporting authority.
- Training of cash security team in subject matter and supervise other staff trainings.
- Preparation and arrangement of Incident Response and Crisis Management training.
- Provide advice and practical support on security issues and contingency planning.
- Participation as a member of Crisis Management Team and contribute as needed.
- Manage operational and administrative requirements of the cash security department on a day to day basis with efficiency.
- To undertake all other reasonable duties and tasks as assigned by the Managing Director or Head of Cash Risk and Reconciliation.
