Role Summary

Bangladesh Petrochemical Company Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly driven
Project Team Lead
to take full ownership of an ongoing project and lead it through to successful completion. This is a hands-on, execution-focused leadership role requiring strong technical judgment, planning capability, and problem-solving skills.

The Project Team Lead will be fully accountable for project timelines, quality, coordination across internal teams and external vendors, and final delivery against agreed objectives. This is not a passive coordination role—the successful candidate is expected to proactively remove blockers, make timely decisions, and ensure consistent progress and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end ownership of the assigned project, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to required quality standards
  • Lead and manage cross-functional internal teams and coordinate effectively with external vendors and partners
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and delivery schedules
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; proactively resolve blockers and drive solutions
  • Ensure alignment between technical implementation and business objectives
  • Monitor project performance and report progress to stakeholders
  • Maintain high standards of documentation, communication, and governance throughout the project lifecycle

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a
    Project Lead, Team Lead, or Delivery Manager
  • At least 2 years experience is required in similar field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Strong software development background with hands-on experience in
    Python and Java
  • Solid understanding of
    machine learning model development and testing concepts
  • Experience working on
    computer vision or artificial intelligence projects
    is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with tools and platforms such as
    Kaggle, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, Roboflow, Hugging Face
    , or similar
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from a reputed university, preferably in
    Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
    , with a strong academic record (good GPA)
