About the Job

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Ecosystem Conservation Specialist to join its team in Bangladesh. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of the Chittagong Hill Tracts Master Development Plan, with a focus on conservation. This is a critical role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.

About the Role

The Ecosystem Conservation Specialist will lead the USAID-funded Chittagong Hill Tracts Watershed Co-Management Activity II (CHTWCA II), which aims to build resilience by reducing biodiversity threats through an integrated collaborative ecosystem management approach in the CHT. The successful candidate will work closely with the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs (MOCHTA), local communities, and other stakeholders to achieve the project's goals.
