Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Specialist - Maternal and Neonatal Health to join our team in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on health programs related to maternal and neonatal health, as well as other areas such as primary health care and emergency response.

• Support the development and implementation of health programs related to maternal and neonatal health, primary health care, and emergency response.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to government counterparts, NGOs, and other partners to ensure effective program implementation.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government officials, civil society organizations, and international partners.
• Contribute to the development of project proposals, reports, and other documentation related to health programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and partners to identify and address emerging issues and challenges in the field of maternal and neonatal health.

• Medical Doctor/MBBS degree and advanced university degree in public health, pediatric health, family health, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in public health, maternal and neonatal health, or a related field.
• Experience working in humanitarian or emergency preparedness and response is an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the healthcare system in Bangladesh, as well as experience working in a developing country. The position requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

$50,000 - $60,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience).
