Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Protection Specialist - Humanitarian Response Coordinator to join our team in Bangladesh. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in child protection, humanitarian response, and program management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of our child protection program in Cox's Bazar, working closely with government counterparts, NGOs, and other stakeholders. You will oversee the development and implementation of strategies to prevent and respond to child rights violations, including gender-based violence and other forms of abuse.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent and respond to child rights violations, including gender-based violence and other forms of abuse.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with government counterparts, NGOs, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and collaboration.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of program plans, budgets, and reports.
  • Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to program staff and partners to enhance their capacity and skills.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in child protection, humanitarian response, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of child protection policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Benefits

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The estimated salary range is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
