We are currently seeking ambitious individuals to join this team of Senior Executive / Deputy Manager (SCM-Foreign) for Bashundhara Chemical Industries Limited, Dhaka.

Responsibilities:-

Performing all procurement processes for Chemical industries i.e, strategic sourcing, Contract negotiations, supplier selection, and supplier segmentation in compliance with procurement policy

Responsible for planning, purchasing, and receiving all activities related to purchasing and delivering commodity items in a timely and cost-effective way

Ensure cost control and adequate analysis of standard cost, cost saving, inflation, material spending, etc.

Calculation of total landed cost for selecting an optimum source for procurement, Local or foreign by calculating cost & impact on the organizationâs profitability

Collaborate with shipping line and transport-related concern authorities for smooth and timely delivery of goods

Coordinates and manages the commodity pipelines to ensure that there are no interruptions in stock

Collaborate with accounts and production department to ensure smooth purchase

Performing all procurement-related works from scrutinizing purchase requisition, verify specifications, collecting commercial proposals, and negotiating & evaluating offers through CS, till the issuance of the Purchase order

Facilitate selection of appropriate vendors for enlistment, approval by management and update from time to time

Establish, negotiate and develop contract terms and conditions maintaining relationships with suppliers for implementing contract

Maintain procurement records, including electronic records and other systems ensuring the accuracy and availability of data

Collaborate with the Banking department to establish LC in terms of LC conditions, Documentation, Correction and amendments in a cost-effective way

Guide suppliers for preparing Shipping documents i.e. Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing list, Inspection Certificate, Import-Export declaration, and Certificate of origin

Maintain liaison with different Govt. officials ie. BSTI, Radiation, Environment & Explosive department

Monitor & supervise import duty requisition with duty, port & agent charges calculation

Monitor & ensure online duty payment RTGS of banking server, risk bond & shipping guarantee, Email, NOC, the container receiving & register entry

Prepare Navy documents forwarding and monitoring the DG status

Prepare demurrage calculation & requisition

Prepare customs-related notes and letters. Monitor and ensure the completion of the total process of the import task
